Born and raised in New York, I have always been surrounded by the vibrant energy and diverse creativity that this concrete jungle has to offer. From a young age, I discovered my innate talent for working with wood, and it quickly became clear that I had a natural affinity for crafting custom designs that were both functional and visually stunning. With each project, I honed my skills as a woodworker, pushing the boundaries of what was possible and constantly seeking new ways to bring my clients’ visions to life.
Despite my undeniable passion for woodworking, I found myself on a different path during my college years. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a fascination with the mysteries of the universe, I embarked on a journey to study physics. For three and a half years, I immersed myself in the world of equations, theories, and scientific experiments, determined to unravel the secrets of the cosmos. However, as time went on, I began to feel a growing sense of dissatisfaction and a nagging voice in the back of my mind telling me that I was not following my true calling.
It was a difficult decision to make, but I ultimately mustered the courage to veer off the well-trodden path of physics and embrace my passion for woodworking. The news of my decision was met with mixed reactions, particularly from my parents who had always envisioned a different future for me. Yet, deep down, I knew that I had made the right choice. The moment I picked up my tools and started working with wood again, I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and fulfillment that I had not experienced in years. It was as if I had finally found my true purpose in life.
Woodworking is not just a hobby or a profession for me; it is a part of who I am. I seem to have sawdust in my veins. The smell of sawdust in the air and the feel of the grain beneath my fingertips ignite a fire within me, fueling my creativity and pushing me to constantly push the boundaries of what is possible. Each piece I create is a labor of love, crafted with attention to detail and a deep understanding of wood’s unique qualities. I put my heart and soul into every project, ensuring that each is the best it can be.
